The Bonnie Doon Leisure Centre has a pool, whirlpool, steam room, sauna, a swing rope, slide and pool toys to get fit while having fun for all ages. The leisure centre is closed for maintenance from: August 28, 2023 to October 18 , 2023.
The outdoor Millcreek Pool is scheduled to reopen the summer 2024, after extensive renovations.
Old Strathcona Farmer’s Market
The Farmer’s Market is open every Saturday year-round. It opens at

Old Strathcona is close by. It has many ethnic restaurants, coffee shops and unique shops located there. There are music shops, bakeries, banks, pubs, thrift stores and consignment places. The Fringe Festival happens every August.
Old Strathcona Antique Mall (10323-78 Ave.) has over 120 sellers with a variety of antique and vintage items.
Millcreek Ravine
Millcreek Ravine is a wonderful nature area close by. There are biking, walking trails, birdwatching, and an off leash dog area. It has walk-in picnic sites.
