All Information Sessions are presented online twice a month. The sessions take place on the first Saturday and third Wednesday of every month. Please visit EventBrite to register via the link in the Upcoming Dates section below.
Each co-op is an independent organization, however, there are some basic fundamental concepts that are similar. The Information Session will help you learn the following:
- What a co-operative is.
- How housing co-ops work.
- The benefits of membership.
- The responsibilities of membership.
- How to apply for membership.
- If a housing co-op is right for you.

When: First Saturday & Third Wednesday of Every Month
Saturday Time: 9:30 – 11:00 am
Wednesday Time: 7:00 – 8:30 pm
Fee: $20 per household (Online Payment Only)
Preregistration: Required (The Eventbrite registration will close 15 minutes prior to the start time on the day of the presentation e.g. The registration will close at s at 6:45 pm for the Wednesday sessions.)
Eventbrite Confirmation: Immediately after you register on Eventbrite, you will receive a confirmation from Eventbrite. We recommend that you open the registration and click View the Event. The link will take you to the Online Event page which contains the Zoom meeting registration link and links to documents that you can download. You will only have access to the Online Event page until the start of the meeting that you registered for.
Zoom Registration: We strongly recommend that you complete your Zoom registration as soon as you receive your confirmation from Eventbrite. If you do not complete the Zoom registration before the start time on the day of the Session, access to the current Session will close and only future sessions will be available. The reason we strongly recommend that you register on Zoom as soon as possible is in the event that you are unable to attend but have registered, you can use the Zoom link you received to attend the next month’s session. However, if you did not register on Zoom or saved the Zoom Registration link you will not have access to the link once your session has started.
Login to Presentation: Instructor will open the online meeting 15 minutes before the applicable start time (If you try to connect prior to 15 minutes before the meeting start time, you will be unable to do so, so please try again.)
Important: If you are unable to attend the session on the date you have registered for, you can attend another session. If you registered on Zoom then you can use the link you received from Zoom after you registered to attend next month’s meeting. However, if you registered for a Saturday session and wish to attend the next session which take place on Wednesday, you will need to send an email to email@example.com, advising what session you had registered for and which session you wish to attend.
